Dennis G. Warner

Lorain- Dennis G. Warner, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, OH surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 2, 1942 to his loving parents, Stacy and Evelyn Warner in Lorain, OH where he was a lifelong resident.

Dennis graduated from Lorain High School. He married his beloved Joan (nee Wallace) on January 31, 1971 and they raised two children, Joseph and Andrea. Dennis retired from Morris Pontiac/GMC. He was a member of and attended St. Mary Church and St. Peter Church in Lorain, OH. He had a love for miniature schnauzers, fishing, boating, and classic car shows.

He is survived by his son, Joseph (Aimee) Warner of Amherst, OH; daughter, Andrea Warner Stidham of Stow, OH; and his cherished grandchildren, Lauren Warner and Tyler Mullin: and Grace, Claire and Emma Stidham.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years of marriage, Joan E. (nee: Wallace) Warner in 2015; parents, Stacy and Evelyn Warner; and brothers, Kim and Mark Warner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, today, Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor, officiating. Christian burial services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan Warner’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110.
