Luisa (Iodice) DiLuciano

Luisa DiLuciano, 72, of Lorain, passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.

She was born in Marcianise, Italy on June 10, 1945 to her loving parents Pasquale and Marianna (nee: Farro) Iodice.

Luisa lived in Italy for 19 years and has resided in Lorain the remainder of her life. She married Alfred DiLuciano on February 19, 1966. Luisa worked as a seamstress at Joseph and Feiss for 10 years. Luisa was a homemaker, full time mother and Nona. She was a parishioner at St. Peter Parish in Lorain. Luisa was a member of the IAV Auxiliary Post 1. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and attending her grandchildren's extracurricular activities.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Alfred DiLuciano; daughter, Melissa (Michael) Kokinda; 4 loving grandchildren, Taylor, Dylon, Xavyer, and J.J. all whom reside in Lorain; sisters, Iola (Fred) Romeo and Catherine (John - deceased) Ganobick who also reside in Lorain; brothers, Francesco Iodice and Salvatore Iodice and sister, Rosetta Veraldia all whom live in Italy; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Marianna (nee: Farro) Iodice; sisters, Maria and Maddalena; and brother; Domenico.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 3-7 PM. Closing prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:20 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor, officiating.
