Ted's mother Lena was my great-aunt. Her twin sister Laura was my grandmother, so Ted was my first cousin once removed..

It's unfortunate that Ted was always treated as an outcast taught to us by my father Carroll. We didn't know any better as kids except to obey your parents. I won't forget my uncle. He was always pleasant to be around and we had uncomfortable small talk at both my parents funerals. I cannot attend his funeral due to work however I hope that my parents will forgive him in heaven. God bless you Ted.

I am the grandson of Ted' s aunt Laura, Lena's twin sister, and there was always some mystery surrounding Ted as I grew up that no one would explain. I just suspect that some of the family didn't have much understanding, and I sure always felt a little at odds with them, including Laura my grandmother.
