Veronica C. (Cyran) Lezber

Lorain- Veronica C. (nee: Cyran) Lezber, 104, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at St. Mary of the Woods in Avon, OH.

She was born on November 16, 1912 in Lorain, OH to her loving parents, Michael and Agatha (nee: Rachel) Cyran.

Verna was a past member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain and recently a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Lorain where she was an active member of the Nativity Altar and Rosary Society. Verna was a homemaker and an avid golfer, playing at Spring Valley Country Club in Elyria, OH.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Robert) Westrick of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Agatha Cyran; her husband, Ralph Lezber; son, Gerald Lezber; brothers, Frank (Adeline) Cyran, Louis (Lillian) Cyran and Ben Cyran; and sisters, Josephine (Martin) Novak and Louise (Rudolf) Jakmas.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of closing prayers at 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 418 West 15th Street, Lorain, Fr. Robert J. Glepko, Pastor, officiating and Rev. Robert J. Dybo, Deacon, assisting. Christian burial services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
