Eileen V. (Smith) Evangelisti

Lorain – Eileen V. Evangelisti, 79, passed away following a brief illness on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Hayes, PA on April 5, 1938 to her loving parents, Edmund and Gladys Smith.

Eileen was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 1956 A. She enjoyed many years of antiquing, camping, traveling, reading, water aerobics, walking, doing word search, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years of marriage, John Evangelisti of Lorain, OH; daughters, Diane (Bob) Lutz of Amherst, OH and Sheryl (Donald) Perrier of San Diego, CA; sisters, Gladys (Gilbert) Olah and Frances (Mike) Basilone; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Gladys (nee: Williams) Smith; and sisters, Delores Meyers and Geraldine Zimmerman.
