Sending prayers and our deepest sympathy to Irene's family and friends. We only met her once at a joyful wedding, but found her to be a wonderful woman full of life and love for family.
She had a wonderful gift of gab that we're sure will be missed by many. She is probably gabbing away in heaven, catching all her family up on those she left behind! God bless!

I feel blessed to have called Irene my godmother. She had one of the brightest smiles and gave the biggest hugs ever. Even though I live in Georgia and haven't seen Irene in 7 years, I always looked forward to our phone calls (many that took place on my way back from long road trips for work). I pray for Kevin, Michelle, Patty, Dylan, Max, and Kathy. May God grant you peace during this hard time and know that a Guardian Angel is up in Heaven to protect you and help shine God's light on you! I love you Aunt Irene and will miss you!

Kathy, I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish I could make it go away. I'll be out of town Saturday so I c an't come to the visitation and the service, but I will be thinking of you. You will be in my prayers now and in the difficult days ahead.

Kevin and Michelle, I worked with your mom at JCPenney 35 years ago. She was such a blessing to me and took me under her wing. I cherish the memories I have of her as I'm sure that you and your children will too as it is through those memories that she lives on and continues to smile down upon us all.
