Lorain – Janice M. Chupa, 91, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village in Lorain, OH.
She was born in Lorain, OH on December 26, 1927 to her loving parents, John and Mary (nee Elias) Chupa.
Janice was a member of St. Mary Church in Lorain, OH and she graduated from Lorain High School. She worked in Human Resources at St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain for many years. Janice enjoyed hand painting ceramic pottery.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (nee Elias) Chupa; sisters, Gladys Kleinhenz and Irene Chupa; and brothers, Edward and John Chupa.
The family will gather for a graveside funeral service at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Calvary Cemetery, 555 N. Ridge Rd W, Lorain, OH 44053, Fr. Daniel O. Divis, Pastor, officiating (Meet at main entrance of Cemetery at 9:45 AM). Memorial donations may be made in Janice’s loving memory to St. Mary Church, 309 W. 7th Street, Lorain, OH 44052 or to the American Cancer Society.
