THEODORE "TED" LYONS

Lorain – Theodore Lyons, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH.

Theodore was born in Reedsville, WV on January 30, 1937. He graduated from Arthurdale High School in Arthurdale, WV, Class of 1954. Ted enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1956 and he was honorably discharged in 1962. He worked as a driver for Terminal Ready Mix in Lorain, OH. Ted enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching sports on T.V. and spending time with friends at the Amvets and American Slovak Club where he was a member.  

He is survived by his niece, Cathy (Rick) Dimacchia; nephew, Mark (Anne) Lyons; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Lena Lyons; and brother, Carroll (Delores) Lyons.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4:00 PM until the time of Prayer Service at 6:00 PM.  Private Interment at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH with military honors.
