Betty M. Visnesky

Betty M. Visnesky (nee Hvizda), 88, of Lorain, OH, passed away at Mill Manor Nursing Home in Vermilion, of natural causes and was reunited with her beloved husband William, on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Mrs. Visnesky was born in Dry Tavern, PA on February 26, 1934, the daughter of the late John A. and Mary (nee Snock) Hvizda. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Lorain where she was an active member of the Marian Guild. Mrs Visnesky was a homemaker and loved her husband and son and family members, spending quality time with them and supporting them in their aspirations. She also enjoyed camping with her husband, walking and watching the hummingbirds.

Mrs. Visnesky is survived by her son, William R. Visnesky Jr. of Lorain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Visnesky Sr. in 1997, and 8 brothers and sisters. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1305 E Erie Ave, Lorain, OH 44052 on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM (Meet at Church). Christian burial services will immediately follow the Mass at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anothony of Padua Church.
