Carol L. Findley

Lorain - Carol L. Findley, 81, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 with her loving family and friends by her side.

She was born to her parents, Earl and Florence (nee Burns) Lenzen, on May 27, 1941 in Lorain, OH where she resided for 67 years. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, class of 1959. She was happily married for 42 years to William “Bill” Findley before he passed away on April 24, 2015. Carol enjoyed traveling and was fortunate enough to go to several places including Israel, Hawaii, and Ireland. She was a past choir member and lector but her greatest honor was being commissioned as a Eucharistic Minister and being able to take communion to the homebound. She was a member of Al-Anon and went on to be a counselor assisting addicted women in treatment for 9 years.

Carol is survived by her children, Diane Friel, Brad (Laurie) and Kirk (Laurie) Seekins, Steve (Lorna) and Don (Linda) Findley, and Candace (Glenn) Muskovich.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Florence; husband, Bill; daughters, Sarah and Dawn; sister, Lynette; and brothers, Larry and Ray.

Mrs. Findley’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Dr., Lorain, OH 44055, Fr. Neil Walters, Pastor, officiating (meet at Church on Saturday). Christian burial services will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH.
