Clinton "Clint" Smith

Lorain – Clinton Smith, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 11, 2021 in Lorain, Ohio.



Clint was born to his loving parents, John and Bernice (nee Ison) Smith, on November 18, 1964 in Elyria, OH. He graduated from Admiral King High School in Lorain, Class of 1983.  Clint enlisted in the United States Army in 1983 and he served until 1987. He married the love of his life, Debra A. (nee Dailey) on January 21, 2006. Clint enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting small game, squirrel and rabbit, fishing, camping, and walking the trails at French Creek Metro Parks. He loved spending time with his family and he cherished his grandchildren.



Clint is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Debra Smith; son, Kyle Smith; daughter, Denise Dailey; grandchildren, Samantha and Kevin; nephew, Uriah Smith; brother-in-law, James Dailey; sister-in-law, and many loving family and friends.



He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Smith; and brothers, Joseph, Randy, Terry, Steve, Dale, and Harlin Smith.



The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961, on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6:00 PM until time of closing prayers at 8:00 PM. Private burial services will be held at a later date at Clint’s family cemetery in Kentucky. Memorial donations may be made at the funeral home.
