David Lee Prunty

David Lee Prunty, 51, of North Ridgeville, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, July 5, 2021.

He was born to his loving parents, Ernie and Joyce Prunty on April 1, 1970 in Elyria, OH. David was a graduate of Elyria High School, Class of 1989. He married the love of his life, Erica (nee Holley) Prunty on February 14, 2019. David was a second generation mason with his brother Paul, and they continued their family business, D & P Masonry. He worked for his family business almost all of his life. David was a dedicated and hardworking man. He enjoyed racing his muscle cars, circle track and drag racing, and watching Family Feud and Ridiculousness. David cherished his family and he especially enjoyed, family gatherings, attending his kids sporting events, and coaching his kids baseball teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Joyce (nee Gentry) Prunty.

David is survived by his loving wife, Erica Prunty; children, Angelique Prunty, Annaliese Prunty, David Prunty Jr., and Ealiyah Prunty; step-children, Candice (Mike) Harris and Kevin Gembka; brother, Paul (Vikki) Prunty; grandmother, Minnie Gentry of Elyria; father-in-law, Dennis Holley; 4 grandchildren, 3 nephews, and dogs Ace and Zarra.

David’s family would like to invite family and friends to gather with them to celebrate David’s life on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at AMVETS POST 32, 11087 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH.
