Diane Gonzalez (nee Strehle), 79, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at her home in Elyria, OH with her family by her side.

Diane was born to her loving parents, Orville John and Wilma Ethel (nee Wagner) Strehle, on September 25, 1942 in Lorain, OH. She was a graduate of Clearview High School, Class of 1960. She worked at Hills in Lorain as head cashier, Lorain Products in production, and South Florida Excavation as bookkeeper. She enjoyed playing Bingo, gambling at the casino, bowling, and was a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians.

Diane is survived by her children, Ralph (Jan) Gonzalez, Raelene (Claude) Kubrak, John (Janet) Gonzalez, Marc (Sue) Gonzalez; stepson, Craig Strickler; grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Ryan, Ashley, Jennifer, Jason, Jacob, Josh; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her companion of 43 years, David Strickler; parents, Orville John and Wilma Ethel Strehle; brothers, Jack and James Strehle; and a still born child.

Diane’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961 on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM, Pastor Chuck Behrens, officiating.
