Edward C. Repko

Lorain - Edward C. Repko, 73, passed away following a sudden illness on December 18, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH.

A lifelong resident of Lorain, Ed attended Admiral King High School with the graduating Class of 1968 and graduated from Lorain County Community College in 1970 with his Associate Degree. Ed worked at the Lorain Steel Plant for over 40 years. He also enjoyed working with his Uncle Lorenzo at Al’s Landscaping for over 50 years. He was a dedicated parishioner at St. Peter Parish in Lorain, OH and never missed watching a Browns or Indians game. He also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, movies, biking, gardening and doing yard work. A decent, honest and hard-working man with a dry sense of humor, Edward will be missed dearly by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Frohman; niece, Katie Caraballo; nephew, Michael Frohman; and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Palma (nee Sulpizio) Repko.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date with private burial services at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH. Arrangements by Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lorain, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
