Edward “Eddie” Scott, 48, of Amherst, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH.

Edward was born to his loving parents, Ronald and Rae Ann (nee Stanziano) Scott on, February 14, 1973 in Lorain, OH. He was a graduate of Southview High School, Class of 1991 and he went on to continue his education, knowledge and skills with the labor union working as a laborer for many years. Eddie married his beloved, Alexana “Ali” (nee Laman-Lyons) Scott on December 5, 2008. He was a proud member of LIUNA, Laborers’ International Union of North America, Local 758, where he was an Executive Officer.  Eddie was also a member and enjoyed spending time with family and friends at St. Ladislaus S.B. Society, AmVets Post 47, and the American Croatian Club. He loved his Ohio football, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Alexana “Ali” Scott; children, Alexis, Jacob, and Sofia Scott; parents, Ronald and Rae Ann Scott; and brothers, Robert (Tressie) and Adam (Jessica) Scott.

Eddie’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961 on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM with burial services to immediately follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst, OH.
