Eileen E. Gonnella

Eileen E. Gonnella (nee Coon) age 90, passed away peacefully and was delivered into Gods Hands at Wesleyan Village Elyria from non Covid related issues on January 4 2022.

Eileen was born on July 4, 1931 in Elyria and graduated in 1949 from Elyria High School. She was married to her beloved Anthony Gonnella for 68 years and raised 5 children teaching all of them to be charitable, humble, a good listener and to mind your own business. Her quiet and selfless spirit will live on through everyone that knew her.

Eileen is survived by her children, Toni (Gary) Payne, Tina Kosik, Nick (Kathy) Gonnella and Tracey (Tim) Mudrock. 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and her sister Jean Clark. She was proceeded in death by her husband Tony in 2020, their daughter Claudia in 1979, her brother Ray and parents Romey and Mary Coon.

Tony and Eileen will share both their funeral mass and burial in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
