Ellen Marie (Miller) Powell

Ellen Marie Powell (nee Miller), 72, of New London, OH and formerly of Elyria, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at U.H. St. John Medical Center in Westlake, OH.

She was born in Watertown, NY on October 22, 1947 to her loving parents, John L. Miller Sr. and Eileen V. Miller.

Ellen graduated from Elyria High School, Class of 1965. She married her loving, William V. Powell on June 21, 1969 in Angela, Indiana. Ellen was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years of marriage, William V. Powell of New London; son, Stephen Powell of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Monica Henry of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Judy Nararato, Rene Lewis, Becky Reaser and Tracy Dostall all of Elyria, OH; brother, John Miller Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; grandsons, Kevin Henry and Tanner Powell; granddaughters, Felicia Powell, Cortney Henry and Mia Henry; great-grandsons, Aidyn and James Spencer Hays: and Kaiden Lee Henry; and great-granddaughters, Victoria Allen Henry and Tynzlie Ryn Lowe. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. Miller Sr. and Eileen V. Miller; and brother, David S. Miller.
