She was born on February 13, 1925 to her loving parents, Frank and Helen (nee Kiss) Dohanyos. Her parents moved her family to New Jersey from Hungary when she was a child and later moved to Lorain, OH where her father found work and opportunity at National Tube in Lorain, OH where they settled. She enjoyed family gatherings and eating out with family and friends. She was a Cleveland Browns fan and an avid Cleveland Indians fan. She enjoyed listening or watching the Cleveland Indians almost anywhere. A favorite past time memory of Ethel was traveling with her husband, Francis, throughout the U.S.A. and visiting every American League stadium.

She was a member of Magyar Church in Elyria where she enjoyed celebrating at services and volunteering to make noodles with other members of the church. She was a past member of the Hungarian Reform Church in Lorain where she enjoyed sharing in services, friendships and Hungarian traditions.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Linda Dohanyos; niece, Carol (Steve) Zientarski; many loving great-nieces and great-nephews including her great-niece and caretaker, Missy Green.

Besides her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Steve Holovach in 1959; 2nd husband, Francis Bickley in 1989; sisters, Grace Nayper and Helen Lengyl; and brothers, Frank Dohanos and Albert Dohanyos.
