George H. Grose Jr.

Lorain - George H. Grose Jr., 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

He was born April 24, 1935 in Lorain, OH to his parents, George Henry and Elizabeth (nee Kompus) Grose. He was a graduate of Clearview High School, Class of 1953 and following high school he was drafted into the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1960 after serving his country for over 6 years. He married the love of his life, Maryann Kathleen (nee Vidovich), on August 19, 1961. He worked for Nelson Stud welding and was also an electrical engineer. George was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and enjoyed boating and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Kirk (Renee) Grose, and grandchildren, Brittany and Gary Grose.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Maryann Grose; and son, Randy Grose.
