Jennifer R. Hylton (nee Wyers)

Wakeman – Jennifer R. Hylton (nee Wyers), 45, passed away at her home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

She was born in Lorain, OH on August 9, 1976 to her loving parents, George Jr. and Karen Wyers.

Jenny graduated from Firelands High School, Class of 1994. She worked at Johnson Controls in Oberlin in quality control before entering her career working with animals. She loved animals and caring for them. Jen was a Vet-Tech with Amherst Animal Hospital, Vermilion Vet Clinic and worked in the boarding facility at Paws by the Lake. She loved fostering pets with Muttley Crue before they were adopted to their loving family. Jen was an avid truck enthusiast and she enjoyed crocheting, campfires, landscaping around the house and gardening. 

She was preceded in death by her father, George H. Wyers Jr in 2018.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Hylton; mother, Karen (nee DeBerry) Wyers; brother, Michael Wyers; and beloved pet, Brooklyn

Jen’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM until the time of the memorial services at 6:30 PM, Pastor Harold Hylton, officiating.
