John Heywood McBride

John H. McBride, 81, of Elyria and formerly of Lorain, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria, Ohio.

John was born on August 22, 1940 in Lorain, OH. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1958. John married his love, Jeanne L. (nee Watters) McBride, on January 19, 1985. He worked for Consun Food Industries for 25 years as a Regional Grocery Coordinator. John cherished his family, enjoyed investing and golfing and loved his sports, especially the
Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Jeanne (nee Watters) McBride of Wellington; brother, Daniel (Kathy) McBride of Florida; son, John P. (Tracie) McBride of Sheffield Village;
stepchildren, Robert Sands, Lori Bentley, Julie Gonzalez; 9 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Betty (nee Heywood) McBride; and his brother, Patrick McBride.

John’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961 on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of John’s Memorial Service at 12:00 PM, Fr.
