June L. Collett

Lorain – June L. Collett, 59, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH following a 5 year battle with cancer.

She was born in Cleveland, OH on November 14, 1960 to her loving parents, Roy and Laura (nee: Toennies) Walker.

June graduated from Southview High School. She was a Chef at Renaissance in Lorain and later at Amber Oaks in Sheffield Lake.

She enjoyed gardening, gaming, playing the lottery and spending time at the casinos playing slots, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.  

She is survived by her mother, Laura Walker; children, Keith (Michelle) Collett, Ryan Gordon and Hayle Miller; siblings, Linda Walker, Raymond Walker, Mickey (Dolly) Walker, Patty Allison, Shirley Barthel and Corrine “Cookie” (Emmett) Clayton; grandchildren, Brandon, Anthony, Isaiah, and Holly; 2 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Walker; and sister, Debbie Bond.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 3:00 PM until the time of funeral services at 7:00 PM, Pastor Beverly Beidleman, officiating.
