Lorain-Kaylie Nicole Eskins, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in Elyria Township, OH.

She was born on October 13, 1991 at Elyria Memorial Hospital in Elyria, OH to her parents, Brian Douglas Hurshman and Teresa Ellen Abbott. Kaylie lived in South Amherst until 1996 and since then lived in Lorain and Oberlin. She married her husband, John Anthony Eskins II on September 22, 2017. She worked for Goodwill in Oberlin and was a member of the VFW Post 6273 in Oberlin as well. Kaylie enjoyed drawing, Misfits Ladies Nights at her mother-in-law’s home every Friday night, shopping, casino hopping with her grandma Abbott, helping others, and spending time with those she loved. She loved her children more than anything and loved learning auto mechanics at her husband’s side.

Kaylie was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Yolande Eskins; grandfathers, Jim Abbott and Martyn Eskins Sr.; step-grandfather, Ernest Hughes; uncle, Jimmy Abbott, aunts, Mary Louise Eskins and Patricia Eskins; and cousin, Jessica Dunn.

She is survived by her husband of 6 years, John Anthony Eskins II; sons, John Anthony Eskins III, Dashawn Lee Richards, and Dustin Brinner; daughter, Lilyonna Brinner; father-in-law, John Anthony Eskins Sr.; mother, Teresa Ellen Abbott; grandmothers, Donna Jean Abbott and Pauline Eskins; brothers, Dustin and Nathan Terry; sisters, Jessica and Rebecca Terry; brother-in-law, Jack Anthony Eskins; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom loved Kaylie dearly.
