Sheffield Lake - Ken A. Sexton, 71, passed away after a lengthy illness at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain, OH on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

He was born on March 18, 1951 in Lorain, OH. He attended Clearview High School in Lorain with the Class of 1969. Ken honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. He retired from Ford Motor Co. with 30 years of service with Local 425 and Local 2000. He was a lifetime member of Amvets Post 55. Ken was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed gardening, hunting, camping, cooking and making homemade wine. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and loved casinos. He took pride in his family, grandchildren, and beloved cat “his boy” Shadow.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Judy A. Sexton of Sheffield Lake; daughters, Michelle (Donnie) Kozich of Lorain, Jolin Sexton of Lorain, and Judy Dobbins of Sheffield Lake; son, James Kelly of Crestwood, KY; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Henrietta Sexton.

All services are private. Burial will be held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in Ken’s memory to Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
