Dr. Matthew Allen Robison

Dr. Matthew Allen Robison, 43, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Amherst, OH on Sunday December 25, 2022.

Matt was born on October 10, 1979, in Lorain, OH to Mark Allen and Kathleen Bridget (nee Buckley) Robison. He was a graduate of Marion L. Steel high school in Amherst, OH, Class of 1999. He continued his education at Ohio State University where he obtained his Doctorate degree in Audiology.

After graduating from Ohio State in 2009, Matt moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he worked as an audiologist for the school of the hearing and impaired. In 2011, Matt pursued an opportunity to work as the head audiologist for the local school district in Yuma, Arizona. Fall of 2019, Matt moved back home to Amherst, OH to be closer to his family and friends.

Matt enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Mark A. Robison of Amherst; sister, Kelly (Donny) Horsley of Lorain; brother, Mark A. Robison of Cleveland; and nieces and nephews, Jesseca, Kaitlynn, Madison, Donny, Jace, Rylan, Theo, Marky, Emilia, Craig, Sebastian, Christian, and Rowan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen B. Robison in 2012; and his infant brother, Mark A. Robison Jr.
