Nathan Joel Orona

Nathan Joel Orona, 20, of Lorain, OH, went to be with the Lord.

He was born in Lorain, OH on May 4, 2000 to his loving parents, Evelyn Orona and Robert Serrano. Nathan attended Clearview High School. He worked at Red Tail Golf Club, Sweetbriar/Legacy Golf Course and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lorain County.  Nathan enjoyed playing basketball, dancing, and he loved music.

He was a warm, kindhearted, young man, and loving son, who was loved by all.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Orona; father, Robert Serrano; brother, Christopher William Garcia; grandparents, William and Ramona Orona; grandmother, Muñeca Figueroa; and the Orona and Serrano families.

He was preceded in death by his infant cousin, Josiah Orona.

Nathan’s family will receive family and friends at House of Praise International Church, 4321 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055, on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Church at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Rev. Gilbert Silva, officiating. Masks and social distancing are required during all funeral services. Christian burial services will be held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp., OH. Arrangements by Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, Lorain, OH.
