Patricia (Rozar) Smith

Patricia (nee Rozar) Smith, 73, of Lorain, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2021. She was born to her loving parents, Charles and Elizabeth (nee Dyal) Cooper, on May 23, 1947 in Albany, Georgia.

Patricia worked as an assembler at Atlas for 10 years. She loved going to church with her son and his wife at Broadway Assembly. She loved all animals but especially dogs and cats. She enjoyed her time watching animal tv shows and feeding the birds. Patricia took joy in putting together puzzles, doing word searches, and sweeping the porch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Cooper; and husband, George Richard Smith Sr., on March 7, 2009.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, George Richard Smith Jr. and Wanda Smith of Lorain, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Broadway Assembly Church, 5495 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052, Pastor Matt Jones officiating. Memorial donations may be made to George Smith at the memorial service or can be mailed to the funeral home, Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
