Pearlene (nee Kimbrell) Campo, 75, of Lebanon, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
She was born in Cullman, Alabama on December 4, 1946 to Rosco and Bertie (nee Bowden) Kimbrell. Pearlene was a graduate of Frazier High School, Class of 1966.
Following high school, she worked as a seamstress, sewing headlining in new cars for GM in Detroit, MI. While living in Michigan, she met Kenneth Campo and was married on January 18, 1969. Together, they moved to Nashville, TN area. For many years, she was a housewife and together, Pearlene and Kenneth, raised their two sons, Anthony and Raimondo. She participated in a carpool to help drive her sons and others to and from St Edwards School. Later, she worked and retired from Menlo Worldwide as a warehouse worker in August of 2003. Pearlene enjoyed sewing, crafts, and doing things for the Salisbury Baptist Church she attended. She would set up flower arrangments for the different hoildays at her church. She volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Mother and would teach crafts and scrapbooking to the kids. Pearlene loved the Christmas season and the spirit of giving and baking Christmas cookies from handed down cookie recipes. She loved animals and on several occasions, she tried to nurse a baby bird that fell from its nest back to health.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Hollis Stacey.
She is survived by her husband and partner, Kenneth Campo, of 52 years; sons, Anthony and Raimondo Campo; and grandchildren, Eathen Campo, Tyler Wilson and Jazmine Wilson.

Pearlene’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961 on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the funeral home at 1:00 PM, Pastor Alan Jenkins, officiating.
