Ralph Michael Burdue
R. Michael Burdue, 68, of Lorain, OH, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 with his loving family by his side.
He was born on September 16, 1953 to his parents, Ralph Ellsworth and Shirley Ann (nee Carter) Burdue, in Norwalk, OH. He was a 1971 graduate of Edison-EHOVE Career Center in Milan, OH where he studied data processing. Mike had worked at Glidden Paints, Tenneco, Whirlpool, Alpco, ending his career at Rockwell Metals where he was a master scheduler. He was a member of the former Milan Rod and Gun Club in Milan, OH. Mike enjoyed riding his Harley, hiking, fishing, camping, traveling and NASCAR, but most of all spending time with his family.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Shirley Burdue.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 22 years, Cathy Hollohazy; children, Amanda Mesenburg, Melissa (Jimmy) Roe, Ashley Horn, and Ryan (Laura) Hollohazy; 6 grandchildren; and his brother, Guy-Lynn Burdue.
