Lorain - Richard D. “Dick” Masters, 89, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 with his beloved wife by his side.

Richard was born on May 19, 1931 to his parents, Samuel and Ida (nee Spinosa) Masters in Canonsburg, PA. He later moved to Lorain, OH, graduating from Lorain High School. He then pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University, Class of 1953. Dick married the love of his life, Nancy L. (nee Hankins) on April 19, 1993. He owned and operated Masters and Associates Real Estate Appraisers for over 55 years. Dick was a member of the Lorain Rotary Club for over 50 years, belonged to Italian American Brotherhood in Little Italy, Lorain Elks Club for over 50 years, Black River Masonic Lodge #786 and a member of Lorain County Shrine Club Fire Brigade. He enjoyed fishing trips with friends, dinner with the Tuesday Night Guys, and spending time with his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy Masters; daughters, Laura (Chris) Davidson of Maryland and Lisa Masters of Elyria; grandchildren, Sean, Jenna and Kiera Davidson and Katie Koch; and nephew, David (Brenda) Masters of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ida Masters; and his brother, David (Doris) Masters.

All services are private. Private Christian burial services will be held at a later date at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp, OH, Pastor Charles Keesee, officiating.
