Wellington – Roger E. Bedinghaus, 91, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home in Wellington, OH with his loving family by his side.

Roger was born on May 29, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on March 7, 1951, serving faithfully during the Korean War and he was honorably discharged on February 12, 1953. Roger married the love of his life, Judith Jean (nee Carlson) on June 22, 1985. He was a salesman for J.H. Day Manufacturing in Cincinnati, OH, retiring at the age of 62. Roger was a member of First Methodist Church in Wellington and he enjoyed woodworking, roller skating, and being a competition judge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Judith Bedinghaus of Wellington, OH; 7 children, 18 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry L. and Edna E. (nee Smith) Bedinghaus and his brother, Roy Bedinghaus.

The Bedinghaus family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 27, 2021  at 10:00 AM, Pastor Paul Wilson, officiating. Christian burial services will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp, OH, with military honors by the U.S. Army.
