Rosina “Ena” Boyle
Lorain - Rosina “Ena” Boyle (nee Broadhurst), 100, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at her home while under the care of Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
She was born on July 11, 1921 in Shepherd’s Bush, London, England. After public schools, she enrolled in Pittman Business College. After college, she was employed by Shell Oil in London. Rosina was drafted into the British Army as a member of the Royal Corps of Signals. While in the service, she met the love of her life, John, a member of the Royal Marines. After World War II, they were married. They came to the United States in 1953 with their two sons, first to Elyria, then to Lorain. Rosina was employed by the Elyria Credit Bureau, then the National Gypsum Co. in Lorain where she retired. She enjoyed shopping, game shows, and yearly traveling back to England to visit family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Neil Boyle of Lorain and Michael (Julianne Vitelli) Boyle of Sheffield Lake; and her loving granddaughter, Jaclyn (Caleb Fisher) Boyle of Bay Village.
She is now reunited with her husband, John Boyle, who passed in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill; sisters, Nell and Ethel, all of England.
