Lorain-Sheila J. (nee Krupp) Wingard, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain, OH.

Sheila was born on June 11, 1941 in Lorain, OH to her loving parents, Orren N. and Kathryn (nee Carey) Krupp. She was a 1959 graduate of St. Mary’s High School and attended Mary Manse College. She married the love of her life, Gerald B. Wingard, on December 29, 1962. Sheila worked at Mehlow’s and was a bookkeeper at Goodman’s Beverage for a short time. She was an avid reader and loved working on her family genealogy. She was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orren and Kathryn Krupp; and her husband of 35 years, Gerald B. Wingard in 1998.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (James) Geisel; sons, David, Lawrence, Rick (Paula), and Gerald (Natalie); brother, Lawrence (Judy) Krupp; all of Lorain, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 Family and friends will be received at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Thursday April 7, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Closing prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:20 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 8, 2022 at St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Ave, Lorain, OH 44053, Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor, officiating.
