Amherst Twp. - Taylor Marie Brown, 22, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at her home.

Taylor was born on January 7, 2000 in Lorain, OH. She attended Amherst Steel School and graduated from Vermilion High School, Class of 2018. Following High School, she attended Kent State University and worked part time at Drug Mart and Bob Evans. Taylor was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain. She was a lover of music, nature, and exploring outdoors. Taylor often spent her time with her brother, sisters, family, and friends as well as caring for her cats, Onyx and Milo. Taylor was a beautiful young woman with a quick-witted humor that could cheer up those around her. Being deeply empathetic, Taylor cared for and loved those around her. She will be greatly missed by many.

Taylor was preceded in death by her father, Jack E. Brown; maternal grandparents, Thomas and LaVera Elwell; and paternal grandfather, Jack E. Brown.

She is survived by her mother, Lynn Wilhelm; brother, Jack T. Brown; sisters, Madeline and Emma Wilhelm; grandmother, Joan M. Brown; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Taylor’s family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Closing Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:20 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022 at St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Ave, Lorain, OH, Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor, officiating.
