Terry DiFrancesco, 87, of Lorain, OH, passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, October 21, 2022.
Ann Terrece ‘Terry’ was born in Lorain on January 31, 1935, to her loving parents, John and Edna (nee Diewald) Foley.
She graduated from Lorain High School in 1952 and continued her education at Miami University earning her Bachelor of Science in Business in 1956. Terry worked in outside sales for Proctor and Gamble up until she married Paul DiFrancesco on September 2, 1961. When Paul founded DiFrancesco Garage Door Company in Lorain, Terry kept the books and managed the front office for over 38 years. Terry belonged to The Community of St. Peter in Cleveland and was a charter member of the ‘Over the Hill Gang’ in Lorain. She was an avid reader who enjoyed traveling, baking, and a glass of wine from time to time. Terry also loved gathering with family and friends for any occasion.
She is survived by her son, David (Laura) DiFrancesco; grandsons, Christopher and Alexander DiFrancesco; brother, Patrick (Patricia) Foley; sister-in-law, Delores Tompkins; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Paul DiFrancesco; and parents, John and Edna Foley.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Kloos, officiating. Christian burial services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
