Lorain-Theodore John Pitts, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his home in Lorain, OH.

Theodore was born in Elyria, OH on October 24, 1949 to his parents, Robert Lawrence and Creola Faye (nee Welsh) Pitts. He was a graduate of Admiral King, Class of 1968. Ted enlisted in the United States Army in 1969, serving honorably in Vietnam and he was discharged in 1971. He was awarded and received the Purple Heart for his services. Theodore worked as an electrician and in construction. He enjoyed listening to music, golfing, and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.

He is survived by his son, Theodore J. Pitts; daughter, Melissa (Jon) Altic; sisters, Gwen (Don) Losh, Karry Roark, and Shirley Boyle; brother, David (Chelia) Suleski; and grandchildren, Skylar, Ella, Ryan, and Victoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Creola Pitts; companion, Linda Briggs; niece, Cierra Suleski; and loving family.
