Lorain – Victor Munoz, 85, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital.

Victor was born to his loving parents, Gervasio “Julio” and Aurelia (nee Torres) Munoz on May 15, 1936 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. He married the love of his life Maria (nee Ramirez) on June 7, 1958. Victor worked for Ford Motor Company in Lorain, OH for 30 years as a tugger. He was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, St. Vincent Charity Group, Warriors of Faith, and Catismatico Holy Love Prayer Group. Victor enjoyed fishing, making videos, dominos, boating, family picnics, and Spanish Christmas caroling.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years of marriage, Maria (nee Ramirez) Munoz; daughters, Sandra (George) Cruz and Vicki (Otha) Coates; son, Pastor Raymond (Diane) Munoz; son-in-law, Edward Peplin; siblings, Natividad “Natty” Rodriguez, Feliciano “Felo” Munoz, LeAndra “Chiry” Rodriguez, Ignacio “Johnny” Munoz, Rosa Munoz, Maria Pigott, and Carmen “Baby” Ozbolt; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gervasio “Julio” and Aurelia (nee Torres) Munoz; daughters, Carol Peplin and Lucy Munoz; and brother, Ignacio “Johnny” Munoz.

Visitation on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH with a wake service at 6:30 PM, Pastor Ray, officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave., Lorain, OH on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 with viewing from 8:30 AM until the time of the Mass at 9:30 AM, Rev.
